Goodell Gardens & Homestead is currently accepting applications for an Garden Helper. Under the direction of the Gardener, the Garden Helper assists with the caring for our plants and grounds in all types of weather. This is a physically-demanding job that requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and duties regularly include raking, weeding by hand, digging, planting, transplanting, edging, watering, and mulching, as well as landscaping, turf maintenance. Some light event set-up will be required (tables, tents, chairs). The successful candidate will have a pleasant demeanor, good work ethic, and be a team player. Interviews will begin immediately and will continue until the successful candidate is found.

Hours: Wednesday – Saturday, daytime, very limited Sunday and evening hours as required
Approximately 20 hours per week
Season: Mid-March to Mid-November, weather permitting

Reports to: Landscape Manager, Gardener
