Dear friends,

Today you have the opportunity to celebrate the great work being done by the nonprofit sector in the Erie region, including the incredible things happening right here at Goodell Gardens & Homestead.

By visiting eriegives.org between now and midnight tonight, you’re able to make a donation that will be matched – in part – by Bonus Bucks from the Erie Community Foundation and other business sponsors.

Your donation to Goodell Gardens through Erie Gives will make you a part of the incredible work started by sisters Carrie & Margaret Goodell who left their estate to become a place to learn about gardening and to connect with nature.

Dollars donated today will support educational programs for all ages, including field trips, public programs and guest speakers. Funding will help continue cultural programs like concerts, festivals and live theatre. Expansion projects like planting wildflower and native grass fields, planting trees, expanding gardens and programs, and designing and constructing a new Visitor’s Center are supported by your incredible generosity. With your continued support today and every day, we will continue developing a facility that will eventually allow for year-round programming and continue to honor the legacy of the Goodell family.

Please join me in supporting the important work at Goodell Gardens & Homestead by making a donation today.

If you’ve already made a donation today, please accept our most sincere gratitude. If you’d still like to contribute there’s plenty of time! Between now and midnight tonight head over to eriegives.org to make your donation. Any amount helps, and with donations starting at just $25, your gift will make so many possibilities become a reality.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Amber Wellington
