We are thrilled to share that we received final approval from the building permitting office to open Lincoln’s Lookout, an observation deck overlooking Edinboro Lake Cove!
This exciting new feature will be open when we reopen our gates in May, and we’re so honored to be home to this beautiful new addition!
Funded by the Lincoln Daniel Bufalino Foundation, Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority, and Suzanne Winterberger, Lincoln’s Lookout will be the premier location to observe Edinboro Lake Cove, a wetland connected to Edinboro Lake.
Named for the late Lincoln Daniel Bufalino, this observation deck is located on Goodell Gardens property overlooking the wetland that is home to animals, rare and native plants, and both resident and migratory shorebirds.
An educator, athlete, and man of nature, Lincoln was a beloved member of the Edinboro Community. We are honored to host this monument to his legacy.
Lincoln’s Lookout was constructed by volunteers over the course of just over a year from permit application to final completion.
