The next generation of gardeners and nature enthusiasts is on the horizon! Come out to Goodell Gardens to join us in training youth in plant science. This program consists of numerous hands-on experiences, such as flower dissection, soil testing, seed planting, nature journaling, and garden maintenance. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend this program with their children, but are not required.

Session 7: Plant Journals (June 23)

Session 8: Collecting and Pressing Plants (June 30)

Session 9: Flower Dissection (July 14)

Session 10: Fruit Dissection (July 21)

Session 11: Wildflower and Tree Identification (August 4)

Session 12: Identifying Non-Flowering Plants (August 11)

Session 13: Collecting Seeds (August 25)


Registration is required, and COVID-19 safety measures will be followed.
